Plans Go Astray
Well, they say the "best laid plans of mice and men oft go astray" and that is what happened with us today. Flint woke me up at 3:30 this morning and stated that we had to go to the hospital because he was having urinary problems. Our doctors are in Westminster, so off we went to Carroll Hospital Center, 55 miles away. We were at the hospital and the urologist's office until 2:30 PM and they suggested that it was either a urinary tract infection or prostatitis and have treated him for both diagnoses. He is really wiped out today and we can't even think about leaving for a couple of days. We have tentatively rescheduled our "casting off" day to Thursday. The car wholesaler is willing to wait until then to pick up our cars and Flint should be ready to go by then. In church on Sunday a verse was shared from Isaiah 43:2 that gave us great peace about our trip. It states, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you." We will take that promise with us, if we ever get to actually leave. Thanks for all your messages and we will let you know what the next few days bring.

After talking with you on Thursday, I knew your nerves were keeping you from enjoying your first day of your trip only to realize that when you stopped that evening, God had just begun to pour out His grace on you both.
After talking with you on Thursday afternoon, I was hoping that you both enjoyed that first day of the loop and the nerves settle in as God pours His grace on you both.
